ABOUT ME

A journalist by profession and currently a mass communication PhD student at the University of Florida, USA, I’m passionate about everything related to the mass media. I romance the written word; an intelligent piece of text is my aphrodisiac. As a science student in my early years, I was encouraged towards a career in the medical sciences. But I chose the pen over the scalpel, and now I use it as the tool to enhance my life, that of my community, my friends and my family. Did I add that the smell of books is the pheromone I most react to? At present, I work as an Instructor for an Interactive Media course in the College of Journalism and Communications, UF. Apart from teaching, I like to spend my days writing to satiate my addiction to anything textual. The visual is not far behind; most of my spare time is spent traveling around with my camera for company.
